We hadn't even left the harbour and we already had northern lights right above us! We ventured to the islands where the city lights can't get us and the auroras lasted through the duration of the tour. We could see all shapes and sizes that covered the sky in green, red and purple!

We already had northern lights above us as we were leaving the harbour! The intensity of beautiful green color was coming all the way, crossing the sky, very strong. Right in the beginning, everyone that was inside came out to see and admire it. What a lovely night!

After some time, the sky started to clear and some very briefs sightings of the northern lights were spotted, faint at first but as time passed, the activity increased. We saw the lights even as we sailed back into the harbour. Great tour!

Elding's statement on whaling in 2023!
Elding expresses its profound disappointment upon learning the decision announced yesterday by the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, to allow Hvalur hf. to continue whaling in 2023! Our deepest concerns lie with the hundreds of whales that may now be subjected to this practice, as it stands in stark contrast to the principles of environmental stewardship and conservation that we hold so dearly.
