Following a few splashes in the distance we located a big pod of 10-12 white-beaked dolphins this morning and additionally found a shy humpback whale that never showed its fluke. In the afternoon, we found a couple of pods of white-beaked dolphins and at one point there were at least 15-20 individuals all around the boat!

We spotted a grey seal and a solo harbour porpoise in the morning, however we did not have any luck for the rest of the day and therefore we offered all our passengers today complimentary tickets, for a second chance of seeing the wildlife in our bay.

We saw a black object and we couldn't decipher what it was until we got closer, it turned out to be a small zodiac with 4 surfers trying to catch some waves - a very odd find! The course was then set to investigate further and eventually we found our resident humpback whale Flak! The afternoon tour was unfortunately cancelled due to weather.

We saw a blow towards Viðey, it was Flak the humpback whale doing a peduncle throw! Then after this they came within metres of our boat, it was so so close. In the afternoon we decided to go in the inside part of Videy, very close of Reykjavik, and there was Flak the humpback whale. We also spotted a grey seal showing its head a few times having a look at us.

In the afternoon we ended up around Videyjarflak again, where we finally spotted the blow of a humpback whale.

In the afternoon we sailed out once more to Viðey and found our humpback whale again. Flak did a lunge feed directly in front of our boat and also rolled on its side, showing off its white pectoral fins. We also spotted 3 harbour seals that were resting on the rocks.
