It was a warm, sunny morning on the sea. We quickly spotted a pod of 6-7 jumping white-beaked dolphins, a big grey seal and 2-3 harbour porpoises! A little while later we had found 2 humpback whales (one of them was Pongo)! In the afternoon we found 2 pods of 4-6 harbour porpoises and a pair of humpback whales near land!

We sailed out quite hopeful we would see northern lights, but, well… the sky had other plans. We didn’t end up seeing much of anything so we made sure to issue complimentary tickets to our passengers so they can come back free of charge.

This morning, we quickly found a pod of white-beaked dolphins that were quite shy at first, but then one of them started jumping a few times. In the afternoon we saw a grey seal eating fish at the surface. We didn't have to go much farther until we found our first pod of around 5 white-beaked dolphins - we later found another 10-12 individuals with a calf!

We headed over to the charming Hafnarfjörður harbour this morning and we were lucky enough to spot the same humpback whale we’ve been seeing for the past few days, still feeding. In the afternoon we again found the humpback whale in the same area, still busy feeding. There were big flocks of birds around it, signaling the presence of fish.

On a grey and windy day we went out to Hafnarfjörður once more, in searching for wildlife - and soon enough we were surprised by a humpback whale. In the afternoon the sea was mildly choppy, nevertheless, our patience paid off when a humpback whale unexpectedly surfaced! It dove quickly, but within a few minutes, it reappeared, taking another deep breath.

We sailed out into the bay this morning as the sun was just rising and it looked like the sky was on fire. We again sailed towards Hafnarfjörður and soon spotted a feeding humpback whale! In the afternoon we headed to the same area and saw the same  humpback whale we saw earlier. This time it was surfacing a lot and 1 time showed his fluke just a little bit.

We could see northern lights as soon as we left the harbour tonight! They started off fairly faint but it didn't take long for them to get bigger and stronger and at one point they were covering the whole sky!
