We went out for a whale watching trip in a calm, chilly and little bit foggy weather this November afternoon at 13:00 o’clock. Inevitably the calm winter climate made the atmosphere quite mystic but pleasant. Luckily, the day before we got information from the Marine Researc

It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and little wind. Just before we left the harbour we got a phone call from a fisherman, who told us that he had seen a humpback whale close to Keflavík, which is some distance from our usual whale watching area. We thought about it

We postponed the trip til 15:00 because then the wind had decreased and the sea was a bit calmer. In spite of this, we weren't able to find any whales, so we gave our brave passengers a complimentary ticket. Hopefully they will have better luck next time!!

The wind had calmed down, so we decided to try going out. We had really beautiful weather with sunshine but it was pretty cold. After some time searching we suddenly spotted a minke whale. It surfaced several times close to our boat, but passengers had to be quick to spot it

We had snow today! But this didn't keep people from going whale watching. Today we spotted only one minke whale. It appeared all of a sudden in front of the boat and surfaced about five times. Then it disappeared. After that we spent the rest of the time searching for more a
