The wind went down and the sky got a bit cloudy but the sea was as flat as oil. Perfect to spot whales! Minke whales were still the most abundant out there, followed y harbour porpoises which were still very numerous. White-beaked dolphins were many, more than 15 approaching us

Weather got even better than during the morning. We came back to the feeding ground and Minkes were there, feeding, mainly with birds like gannets and auks around. 3-4 dolphins were still in the area and we could enjoy them for a while.

Again no whales! And again we searched a big, big area, and we went further out, but couldn´t spot any whales. The weather got worse during the day and it was pretty cold on this tour. Well, bad luck today, but as we always say, this is nature, too, even if we don't like it.

We sailed again from Grindavík, and the wind had picked up a little more, but still the sea was pretty calm. We spotted a group of Orca at the beginning of the trip, and after we left them we sailed and sailed but didn't find any more whales, unfortunately. We made a stop at

At the end of the morning tour we left the dolphins rather far out in Faxaflói bay. Therefore we were very surprised to find them again very close to the harbour. They were as funny and curious as in the morning. Once again we always had several white-beaked dolphins with us
