Tour at 13.00
Like over the last weeks we sailed again from Hafnafjörður. During the whole tour there was a really strong winds and a lot of rain, but it took us just a few minutes until we encountered a Humpback Whale! He is no stranger to us, because of his squared dorsal fin we call him Mister Square!!! Today we spent the whole tour not far from land with this animal. The Whale came often really closed to us, he was not more than 5 to 10 Metres away from the boat. So it was just great to look at the Humpback rolling and busy feeding either from the warm saloon inside or outside of the boat. Those who stayed outside during the whole tour definitely got a lot of fresh air and a great shower today, what can be really fun is wearing the Overalls offered free of charge on board!!! Another great day with the Icelandic marine life!!
