Tour at 13:00
Once again the weather was lovely, snow capped mountains and sunset at 1530. We really had our fingers crossed today after a couple of days of cancellations and no sighting tours. We headed very very far out into Faxaflói Bay today and after about an hour and a half of sailing we came to an area were there was a lot of fishing boat s....ok there must be some fish here and that means there must be some dolphins or whales. YES!!! through the binoculars we saw a fast swimming dolphin so we slowed down and then we saw 3. Suddenly we seemed to be surrounded by them. Must of been at least 20-30 White-beaked Dolphins in the area with more further away. We saw some great behaviours, breaching, leaping, surfing the swells, swimming under and around the boat. It was amazing. thank you Dolphins for a fantastic tour :)
