Tour at 13:00
A very successful tour. Calm seas, blues skies and once again great visibility. Our first cetacean of the tour was a large pod of Harbour Porpoises which we were able to stay with for a short time before spotting a small pod of White-beaked Dolphins in the distance. These were a little elusive so we left them alone and headed further out. It took us a little while before we saw our first Minke Whale but once we got there they were everywhere. Must have seen at least 5-6 Minkes on this tour. The bay seemed quite quiet to begin with and then suddenly whales, dolphins and porpoises were showing up everywhere. Excellent Tour!!

The weather and the sea conditions were perfect when we headed out this morning. After sailing for some time some harbour porpoises showed up next to the boat but only for a short while. Further out we found white-beaked dolphins and some minke whales in the same area and some times it was difficult do decide where to look. We spent most of the tour enjoying the whales, dolphins porpoises and lots of diving gannets in the same area. So, perfect whale watching tour.
