Tour at 13:00
The wind had picked up a bit when we headed out on our afternoon tour. It took as some time to find something but then we spotted the White Beaked Dolphins. The dolphins came really close to the boat only 3 meters from us. They where diving under the surface close to the boat, so that we could see them even diving under the surface. We could follow them for quite some time and had a really nice time with them. On this tour we couldn't find another species but it was still a nice tour because of the playful dolphins.

All facets of Iceland's ever changing weather in one morning today. Beautiful rough seas, and wind with sun and rain taking turns, creating many rainbows in the Faxaflói bay. Unfortunately, we were less lucky with the whales. Although we found a large group of diving Gannets - normally a really good sign for whales - we only saw a few blows but not the whales themselves. Still, we had a good and fun time with lots of fresh air and cool birdlife to watch.
