Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: We made the decision to sail from Hafnafjörður this afternoon in order to shelter from some high winds. The sea was actually quite calm too so our sailing was quite comfortable for a lot of the trip. We started out sailing along the Reykjanes peninsula and managed to see a lot of Northern Fulmars and some Northern Gannets but there were no cetaceans there. We eventually turned around and sailed closer to land, and it was a good job we did! We managed to find a very energetic group of White-Beaked Dolphins! They were a fantastic group of watch too, there were around 10-15 of them and they were jumping very high into the air the whole time we were watching them. After staying with them for around 30 minutes we eventually headed back to Reykjavík with smiles all round!
