Tour at 13:00

Report from hafsúlan: The sea conditions were becoming better than in the morning tour so our sailing was very comfortable. It hailed for a while on us just to remind everyone that spring has not yet arrived in Iceland. we saw 5-6 harbor porpoises after only 20 minutes sailing, we saw them surfacing several times under few northern gannets that were diving down. We kept on going in hope to find bigger animals. After about two hours our first mate spotted a whale far away. We sailed towards it and when we got a better look at it we saw it was a minke whale. Sadly we were not able to see it well as it was spending long time under water so we soon lost sights of it. When we got back to harbor we offered all of our passengers complimentary tickets so they can have a second chance with us to get a good look at these amazing animals.

Tour at 09:00

Report from hafsúlan: the sea conditions were relatively good this morning. We sailed towards we had seen the dolphins on the afternoon tour yesterday but were not able to find anything there except for the northern fulmars that flew around us. after not being able to find any signs of cetaceans we of course got very exited when we got a call from another boat from Elding that they had seen a minke whale. We sailed towards them in hope to see as well. Unfortunately the whale had disappear when we arrived so we never saw it. At that point we were running out of time and had to get back to land. Because no cetaceans were seen on the tour we offered all of our passengers complimentary tickets that will be valid for the next two years.
