Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: Hafnarfjörður it was on this somewhat chilly and foggy April afternoon. We went out and went west, scanning along the shore before turning out and to then to the north and finally east as we were going to end the tour in Reykjavik. The sea conditions were decent, given the preceding wind but then we are rather sheltered from the land in this area. There was a bit of birdlife and at one point we did see 2-3 harbour porpoises come up but we only saw them once or twice and then they were gone. The third porpoise actually made it self known by coming up once just next to the boat to blow (exhale air) and did so with the sneezing sound that porpoises are known for and have earned them the nickname "Puffing Pig", it was quite funny actually! But sadly that was it for this tour and nothing larger could be found. As a result we gave every passenger a complimentary return ticket so that they can come back whale-watching with us, then free of charge, in the hope of seeing what we would rather have liked to show them today.
