Tour at 09:00
Report from Hafsúlan: Sunny weather with few clouds, but the wind was severe. We battled the northern winds as soon we left the harbour, luckily the overall we offer to all of our passengers protects against the wind and the swell. We sailed north in some cover from land before we turned and sailed with the wind out in Faxaflói. The first arctic terns of the year were seen. These birds are long migratory experts, migrating as far south as Antarctica. Really fun that they have returned and a good indicator that summer is around the corner! Sadly no cetaceans wanted to show them selves for us today so we offered complimentary tickets to all of our passengers. The tickets are valid for a whale watching tour with us at Elding within the next two years.
