Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: We sailed out of Hafnarfjordur today in hopes of good weather and nice sea conditions. We were in luck since the ocean was smooth when we sailed out and we went to the west along the Reykjanes peninsula. On our way back east we sailed further off shore to expand our search area and that certainly payed off since we ran into a very large group of feeding White beaked dolphins. They were possibly 50+ in all and were all around the boat, both close and far away. We saw them breaching out of the water, some individuals over 10 times in a row! Along side the dolphin display were Northern Gannets plunging into the water at great speeds. The bay was very lively in that spot and we certainly hope that the dolphins will still be there tomorrow!
