Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: The sky had cleared and it kept dry the whole tour. On this tour we had to sail far out to find animals. After nearly 2 hours searching we finally saw splashes even further out. We soon saw the splashes were from jumping white beaked dolphins. When we got closer we saw this was a huge pod, at least 20-25 individuals. They gave us a great show, leaping, breaching, head slapping with big splashes! At least ten of them came towards us and started bow riding and few others were riding the swells behind the boat. The sun was getting lower so the sky was getting orange, lighting up strange cloud formations over Reykjanes and the double rainbow made the dolphin show even more amazing.

Report from Eldey: The bay started off a little gloomy with the dark clouds and heavy rain. Our passengers were already wet even before we set of on our ocean adventure. However, the rain only lasted a few minutes and it cleared to become a beautiful morning with rainbows, calm seas and  colourful, dynamic skies. We saw gannets, soar past, kittiwakes and seagulls enjoying the spoils of the bay. We encountered no whales unfortunately but a wonderful pod of 5-6 white-beaked dolphins, which were very busy feeding but could be spotted from afar as they body slammed the waters surface over a kilometer in the distance. It was incredible to watch these wild dolphins doing what they do best.
