Tour at 13:00
Report from Hafsúlan and Elding: Both boats sailed from Grindavík today and the weather seemed to be better than the previous days had been. There was both blue sky and sunshine and although the sea showed some white caps it was actually smoother than it looked. The bird life on the tour wasn´t very active, a number of fishing boats in the area caused many birds to swarm around our boat occasionally. Aside from those birds there were the usual Northern Gannets, Northern Fulmars and Kittiwakes seen in the sky and Common Guillemots sat on the waters surface. Unfortunately despite both boats searching the length of the Reykanes peninsula we didn´t see any cetaceans, therefore we gave out complimentary tickets at the end of the tour.
