Report from Hafsúlan and Elding: The weather, just like the last few days, was pretty much perfect. Blue skies with a high sun and some good sea conditions, the temperature took a dive today which gave the whole tour a true winter feel, especially with the surrounding mountains all covered in snow. With two boats out we felt the recent draught of whales had to give way and after around an hour of searching when we were near Arkranes a few White-Beaked Dolphins were spotted storming toward Elding. We followed their trail and we were led to a pod that must have been at least 15 dolphins large. And these dolphins were feeding! They were even jumping out of the water as they were feeding! It was an excellent trip and hopefully it is a sign that life is returning to Faxaflói after the recent emptiness.
