Tour at 13:00

Report from Elding and Hafsúlan: For our 13:00 tour the weather had improved a a lot and since we didn't see anything on today's first tour we decided to sail a bit further. Soon after we sailed out from Hafnarfjörður we got a glimps of some White beaked dolphins but they didn't seem interested in the boat today and sailed off almost right after we saw them. So we continued our sailing and we went all the way to Garðskagi. When we were there we started seeing blows from a Humpback whale. Once we got closer we saw that the area was fiilled with capelin and there were 4 humpback whales feeding on the capelin along with a flock of birds. After watching the animals surfacing by our boats a number of times we sailed to Sandgerði where we ended our tour after a lovely day.

Tour at 9:00

Report from Hafsúlan: Today we sailed out from Hafnarfjörður. We decided to sail with the wind along the Reykjanes peninsula. We did see some birds on our way and the view was very good. Clear sky and it wasn't as cold as it has been some previous days. Then when we sailed back we sailed into the wind so it got a bit choppy at times. We didn't see any cetaceans on our way back either but the sailing was still a good fun. We handed out complimentary tickets at the end of the tour.
