Status: RUNNING

We are sailing out today from Reykjavik Harbour. We are expecting wind from the east and we could experience some swells.

Sightings: We sailed out from Reykjavík harbour today in a christmas mood and excited to see some wildlife. We were expecting some swells but it was actually pretty good so not a lot of people got sea sick. We didn't have to sail for long time until we got the great news that another boat had spotted some blows so we headed in that direction. This turned out to be a humpback whale, most likely the same animal that was spotted on our boats a few days ago. This individual was spending a lot of time under water between surfacing but when it surfaced it made a big blow which made it easier for us to keep track on it. This definitely was our lucky day because the animal came really close to our boat at one point so I'm pretty sure that everybody saw it. It showed us it's fluke a couple of times and one time brought it's flippers out of the water. Really great to see this individual over the christmas time.
