Status: RUNNING

We are sailing out today from Reykjavik Harbour. The forecast predicts some winds from the south and we could experience some swells

Report from Eldey and Elding: due to high number of passengers we went out on two boats today. It did not take us long to find cetaceans today,  4-5 white beaked dolphins were spotted. We followed them for 20-30 minutes. We got a great look at them while they swam around the boat. After a while we decided to head further out to search for larger species. Shortly after we discovered blows from a Humpback whale. Most of our crew only saw the blows though but not the actual animal itself. We waited for a long time but unfortunately never spotted the humpback again. On our way back to land most of our passengers went indoor because the wind got stronger and it started raining.

Birds seen on the tour: northern gannet, northern fulmar, glaucous gulls, iceland gulls, greater black backed gulls, common guillemots and great cormorant.
