Today we are sailing out from Hafnafjorður.
Tour at 13:00
Report from Eldey: We went out from Hafnarfjörður today due to rough sea conditions. It was really windy today but we didnt feel it when we sailed out on the bay because then we travelled with the wind. After about an hour we found 4 white beaked dolphins. At the beginning it was easy to follow them as the kept going in the same direction and surfaced frequently. Then it seemed like they started feeding, they spent more time in the water and surfaced here and there around us. Sometimes they surfaced fast and we almost only saw the splash on the surface and sometimes slower and it was difficult to get photos of them. After a good time with the dolphins we decided to go further out to look for other species. Even though we searched for other animals we didnt find anything but we were still happy with seeing the dolphins earlier on the tour.
