Report from Eldey: Due to the strong southern winds we went out from Hafnarfjörður today to make the sailing more comfortable for our passengers. The sea conditions still got a bit rough and choppy in the end of the tour when we got closer to Keflavík, our final destination today. Along the way we got to see many different bird species and some northern fulmars came so close as if they wanted to check us out and say hello. However, the birds were the only wildlife keeping us company during the tour today. We were hoping to find some white-beaked dolphins or the minke whales that were spotted on the last few days but they we not around today. As always in these cases, we gave out complimentary tickets for another free tour with us within the next two years, and hopefully most of our passengers have time to give it another try!
