We are sailing out from Reykjavik Harbour today. The forecast predicts wind from the north and swells.

Report from Eldey: We headed out this morning in some strong wind from the north. The tour was quite rough in the beginning when we were heading into the swells out in to the bay. Some passengers got green faces but luckily it smoothed out when we turned around in the bay and traveled in again. During our search in the bay we came across various types of seabirds but unfortunately no cetaceans. We scanned the waters outside Akranes and Hvalfjörður on our way back but we were unsuccessful. Therefore we offered all passengers complimentary tickets so they can return with us on another whale watching tour.

Bird species seen on todays tour include: northern gannet, northern fulmar, great northern diver, shag, cormorant, Iceland gull, common gull, razorbill, long-tailed duck and eider duck.
