Status: RUNNING

We are sailing out from Reykjavik Harbour on this wonderful day.The forecast predicts little wind from the south and it is going to be a little cold. But we have warm overalls on board all of our vessels and some hot drinks.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey and Hafsúlan: We went out on two boats today because of high number of passengers. This day was absolutely perfect for whale watching. It was one of the warmest days out on the bay for weeks, almost no wind and the sea surface was so flat that it looked almost like a mirror. There were some long swells that rocked our boats but they were so low that they didnt effect our sighting ability. On days like these we can spot animals from great distance. We got amazing sightings of two species, the harbour porpoises and white beaked dolphins. These animals seemed to be spread over a large area, at least 11-15 dolphins in two pods and 20-24 harbour porpoises in four pods. It was easy to follow these animals around, they often surfaced close to our boats and seemed to be in no rush as they traveled slowly in the area.
