tour at 13:00Report from Hafsúlan: We headed out from Grindavík again and the weather was just beautiful. There was some movement in the ocean but still no braking waves and the ocean looked like mirror. After only sailing for 30 minutes we found a pod of 5-7 Killer Whales and 3 Humpback Whales , and with them dozens of birds. They all seemed to be feeding on a big school of Herring and just as we were getting close to the humpback whales, one of them breached out af the ocean, so we could see the whole body of the animal out from the surface and them hitting the ocean again making a big splash, what a wonderful sighting!! Both the Orkas and the humpback whales surfaced right next to the boat many times, and the weather was so good we could clearly hear the beautiful sound of the blow. We watched them for over an hour before we had to head back towards the harbour. What an amazing tour, the area around Grindavík has been treating us very well for the last days and we are just thrilled over these amazing sightings! - Freydís Ósk
