Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: Since we have been having so much luck in Grindavík lately we decided to sail out from there yet again. We started our tour by sailing to the same area where we found the humpback whales and orcas yesterday. When we got there we saw that there wasn't much life in that location. That is why we decided to sail towards the west along the Reykjanes peninsula. The sea was calm and the view was excellent even though it was a bit windy at times. We did see a group of Northern Gannets sitting on the water and we interperated that as an indicator of possible food in the area, so we scanned the ocean around us carefully. It wasn't long until we spotted a group of White beaked dolphins close by. They swam around the boat and some even swam under it. They didn't stop for very long though, and after that pleasant encounter we sailed back to Grindavík harbour.
