Tour at 13:00
Report from Hafsúlan: We sailed out this afternoon from Keflavík to get shelter from the worst swells due to the stormy weather. On this tour we got to experience all kinds of weather, everything from sunshine to hail storm. The last hour was insanely windy and you could really feel how the wind was catching you. We searched alongside the Reykjanes peninsula and got to see several species of seabirds and from time to time the beautiful landscape surrounding us. Unfortunately no whales or dolphins were seen on todays tour, probably feeding further out in the bay then where we could travel. Therefor we offered all passengers complimentary tickets so they can return for another whale watching tour with us here at Elding.

Bird species seen on todays tour include: northern gannet, northern fulmar, "blue fulmar", Iceland gull, greater black-backed gull, kittiwake and eider duck.
