Tour at 09:00

Report from Eldey: What an adventure! We didn't expect the sea conditions to be that rough, bout on our morning tour a tricky mix of wind waves and tidal waves made sure to keep us shaking in every directions! This sensational ride was perfect for adrenaline addicts, although the more grounded of our passengers might have suffered a little bit of sea sickness. Nonetheless everybody was up to the challenge of spotting wildlife in harsh conditions.  This granted us few glimpses à 3 elusive white-beaked dolphins and about 8 harbour porpoises. We ventured further for more, visiting a huge flock of northern gannets, manx shearwaters and northern fulmars feeding, but unfortunately no more cetaceans showed up. This is why we offered complimentary tickets to our customers on board. Luckily next time they come up an easier weather will help to spot more wildlife!

- Guillaume Calcagni

Bird species seen on today's tour include: northern fulmar; manx shearwater, black-legged kittiwake, glaucous gull, icelandic gull, lesser black-backed gull, arctic skua, northern gannet, atlantic puffin, common guillemot, eider duck & herring gull
