Tour at 17:00

Report from Hafsúlan: The wind had picked up a bit but it was a beautiful evening light. We were searching for a rather long time until we spotted a pod of White Beaked Dolphins. We saw them a couple of times and than they were gone which was a bit disappointing. We kept on going and nothing happened for quite a while until we spotted a Minke Whale in front of the boat. We got to see this individual a few times before we lost it. It was a difficult tour but we got some nice encounters and a stunning evening sun.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Elding and Hafsúlan: The beautiful weather had brought an influx of passengers to our door this afternoon so we decided to take out two boats to provide more room for them all. We both got to see a large pod of 20-30 White-beaked Dolphins which seemed to be busy chasing fish, it was fun to watch them jump out of the water and speed of this way and that. We both also got to see 2-3 Minke Whales but Hafsúlan had the best encounter with them, they were being very stealthy, not bringing much of their body above the water and going for very long dives. Elding saw a few Harbour Porpoises but they too only surfaced quickily before they were gone again so not to sure how many of the passengers spotted them. All in all, a very nice day with occasional showers but mainly bright sunshine and rainbows.

Tour at 9:00

Report from Hafsúlan: We sailed out in a very good sea condition finally after all the stormy days. We didn´t search very long until we spotted a Minky Whale. Few minutes later a second one showed up. They were probably feeding in the area, changing directions quickly. It was very nice to watch them and we got a couple of very close encounters. It was a truely nice tour.
