Tour status: RUNNING

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey and Hafsúlan: The wind was very strong and cold, so it certainly felt comfortable wearing the overalls provided onboard. Early on the trip, our captains decided to sail into different directions to search over a wider area. Eldey sailed far out on the bay and Hafsúlan stayed closer to land on the east side of the bay. Both boats spotted white beaked dolphins in these areas! Eldey found two pods, with 5 individuals in total, and Hafsúlan saw one pod of 7 dolphins. However, the dolphins were all rather elusive, which made it difficult for us to follow them. On the way back to land, Eldey also spotted 4 harbour porpoises that swam fast by the boat. We decided to give everyone return tickets, because it was difficult to get a good look at the animals on this trip. Hopefully we will see you all with us again!
