Tour at 13:00:

Report from Eldey and Elding: It certainly felt good wearing the overalls provided onboard because it was freezing out on the bay! It was easy to forget the cold because the sightings were so good and the visibility over the mountains were also fabulous! The tour started with two pods of white beaked dolphins! There were at least 10 individuals in the area and 4 of them were females with calves! The dolphins were so curious that they approached our boats and swam all around us! We got fantastic views of the small and cute calves as they surfaced next to their mothers. Further out on the bay we spotted a humpback whale! Every time it went for a dive it showed us it´s fluke. This was the same individual as we saw yesterday that we call, Jafar. It is so nice to see how much life in the bay!

Bird species seen on today's tour include: glaucous gulls, iceland gulls, kittiwakes, shags, cormorants, eider ducks, red-breasted mergenser and greater black-backed gulls.

We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today at 13:00. There will be some movement on the boat, and we do have seasickness tablets free of charge at the ticket office. Today is also very cold, so do not be shy to make use of our warm overalls.
