Report from Eldey: In our afternoon trip we enjoyed a nice ride around Faxafloi. As soon as we left the port we could see many seabirds species floating over the water. But it wasn't the only thing waiting for us today. After a short search, we found a pod of 6-8 white-beaked dolphins which were clearly feeding over on of their favorite places in the bay. We enjoyed for more than half an hour and we were able to see fantastic and acrobatic behaviours followed by calm and relaxed surface sequences. We carried on to find out more surprises, a pod of tiny 4 harbour porpoises crossed over our path and when were in our way home a huge blow stopped us. It was a juvenile humpback whale, surfacing several timing and showing us her fluke. We couldn't ask for anything else but in our way back we saw more birds around Reykjavik harbour. A perfect trip for a beautiful afternoon.
