Report from Eldey: The weather this afternoon improved even more than this morning, with the sea becoming very smooth and the mist that shrouded the mountains clearing. The spotting conditions were almost perfect and we left the harbour hoping for greater luck than our morning tour. we sailed to our best known locations, where a humpback whale was sighted by another company. We made our way to the area and caught only a short glimpse of the animal surfacing. It decided to stay below the waves for some time and we unfortunately lost it. We continued to search for other ceatceans but we were not successful. Complimentary tickets were awarded.

Report from Eldey: We were more than happy to be able to sail again from our base harbour - Reykjavik. The weather was amazingly good, especially after big storms last days. We had clear sky, no wind and no waver. First hour we spend enjoying beautiful landscape and raising sun. After a while of sailing we saw two harbour porpoises passing by fast. A moment later another individual lead us in the direction of feeding birds with many more porpoises around. We used this opportunity to take a good look at this elusive animals. We spend around 30 minuts with them what was great! Unfortunately, even that we had fun with porpoises, any bigger cetaceans weren't seen, that why we offered complimentary tickets.

We are sailing out from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik today. Because of the bad weather lately there could be some movement on the boat out at Faxabay so if you are sensitive to motion sickness we do have seasickness tablets free of charge at the ticket office. All our boats have inside and outside areas and to make the tour even more comfortable we provide warm overalls. Hope you will be able to join us on our tours today.
