Report from Hafsúlan: In the morning, the wind was blowing strong, but the sky was blue and the sun was shining, as we decided to sail out towards faxa bay. We started our tour on Lundey, the puffin island in front of Reykjavik, ad were happy to see many puffins in the air around the island. As we headed further out, we were facing rough seas and some passengers surely found it more enjoyable than others that became a bit seasick. Even tough we tried very hard, we were unfortunately not able to show our passengers any whales so that the Atlantic Puffins and other seabirds such as Northern Gannets, Manx Shearwaters, Northern Fulmars and the various seagulls plus of course the nice landscape of faxa bay turned out to be this tour's highlight. We gave out complementary tickets to all our passengers and hope to see all of you again on a better tour in the future!
