Report from Elding: Winter has arrived once again with strong and cold North Westerly winds, snow and hail. As the boat climbed the swells on the way out we got a salty taste in our mouths, due to the waves that splashed over the boat. This was a real Icelandic sailor experience. Far out on the bay we found areas with many seabirds, they were scattered and seemed to be searching for food. The way back to land felt smooth and warm. The sun had come out between the clouds and the view of the mountains was incredible. Unfortunately, we ran out of time before we managed to find whales or dolphins, therefore we gave all our passengers return tickets. We hope to see you soon again on the boats!
