Tour at 14:00
Report from Elding: The expected challenge was to come, wind and waves spent us spray and a ride like on a roller coaster. Most of us had a lot of fun, still the captain soon brought us back into the shelter of the harbour were we went to see some of the last puffins of Lundey breeding.

Tour at 13:00
Report from Eldey: Windy day took us on a rollercoaster ride. We sailed out and saw lots of birds that were feeding so we searched the area. We got to see some beautiful northern gannets diving down for food really close to the boat. We saw a quick look at a minke whale but unfortunately not all passengers got to see this animal as it was hard to spot inbetween the waves. Even for a sunny tour we had difficulty spotting so we gave our costumers a second chance and handed out complementary tickets hoping they will come back and get a better look at the animals.

Tour at 10:00
Report from Elding: The morning was rocky and funny as we sailed through very viking seas but it didn´t stop us to find some life out there. 4-5 minke whales were encountered during the tour next to huge flocks of seabirds. All of them were having a fest as it seemed to be very productive area in terms of fish. They came across several times surfacing with a powerful blow and even though was difficult to track them sometimes, the reward was good enough.

Report from Eldey:Our first Monday tour started under the bright Sun and with wind picking up with passing time. Despite whitecaps on the top of the waves our ride wasn't rough and we had good spotting conditions. We saw numerous blows from the whales around but finding them was more tricky. Birds were like crazy feeding in huge floks and moving around. After a while finally we start seeing minke whales. Most of them were coming to the surface only once but we got see 6 or 8 individuals. One of them was feeding 10m away from our boat, staying close to the surface so we could see it through the water. This close encounter made our morning special.
