Report from Hafsúlan: The wind had freshened up a bit when we sailed out but it was still a very nice sea condition with an unexpected evening sun. We didn´t sail far out before we spotted our first Minke Whale. We stayed with this animal for a while before we decided to head further out as it started to become elusive and we don´t want to disturb the animals too much. We were already on the way back as we suddenly saw 3 more Minkes on one spot, one coming really close to our boat. It was an amazing end of the day.

Report from Elding: This tour was amazing with three species of cetacean and bubbling shoals of Mackerel. We didn´t have to sail as far on this tour, everything seemed to have come closer to land. We headed to the area the other whale watching boats are, this is where we saw a Pod of 7-11 White-beaked dolphins which were going for long dives if you got to close and the Minke Whale there had already two other boats with it so we decided to head to the Minke Whale in the distance that was on its own. You could see that this Minke Whale was relaxed with our presence as it surfaced many times and close to on a couple of occasions. We also got to see other Minke Whales in the distance and a few as we headed back home. 6 we counted in total but i´m sure more were around. We also caught a glimpse of two Puffins and a small pod of 3-4 Harbour Porpoises. Very nice afternoon.

Report from Hafsúlan: We sailed out in xcellent sea condition this afternoon and it took us only 15 minutes until we spotted a Minke Whale. This guy was pretty close to land but there were many more whales in the same area, in total we probably saw 5-8 some of the surfaced very close to our boat. We also saw 2-3 different pods of White Beaked Dolphins and they prepared kind of a synchronized swimming for us, surfacing all at the same time. It was a wonderful day with some sunshine and beautiful cloud formations.

Report from Elding: we sailed out from Reykjavík in a rolling swell which reduced throughout tour. We saw one Minke Whale as we travelled offshore but obviously it was not in a good whale watching mood as it only surfaced twice and then didn´t show up again. We decided to then head further offshore, far, far today but it was worth it, we got to see two really nice Minke Whales feeding together. They were obviously feeding because they were constantly changing directly, we didn´t even bother following them we just stayed in one place and watched them surafcing here and then there, far and close. It was really interesting to watch. We even got to see a Puffin also which I pointed out to the passengers. Nice to see they are still around.

Report from Hafsúlan: The sea condition was very good this morning we were all very pleased after days of rough sea. We had to go out very far though this morning before we spotted a Minke Whale. It was a very nice, relaxed animal and we got to see it quite close to the boat. On the way back we also spotted a pod of White Beaked Dolphins jumping high out of the water but unfortunately they stopped once we got closer. They were traveling extremely fast probably chasing fish. It was still very much fun to see them jumping in a distance and we went back to the harbour quite satisfied.
