Report from Eldey: I am always surprise how much fewer guest is showing up on out tours just because of few drops of rain! Whales and dolphins really don't care about such a minor thing like a water falling from the sky as this animals are already covered by water entirely. The only thing which might matter is wind and this day started windless, sea was flat like a mirror. We had big hopes as spotting conditions couldn't be better. When we were sailing through the bay we felt solitary, it was so calm and quite. Only animals visible for us were sea birds, not great in number but represents of many species. On our way back wind started to picking and our ability to see between waves was getting worst. This time we didn't had a chance to see whales or dolphins but our passengers with complimentary ticket will have another opportunity to sail with us.

Bird species seen today include: northern gannet, common guillemot, eider duck, great northern diver, great cormorant, icelandic gull, glaucous gull, black-backed gull

We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today. There might some be movement out on the sea today, after the strong winds we have been having for the past days. We do have free seasickness tablets for those who wish, and be sure to make use of our warm overalls to keep warm and dry during the tour.
