Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: Our tour for today took us to the well-known port of Hafnarfjörður. The reason was our pursue for the whale that we had seen in previous days. We sailed under strongs winds but despite that, the sea state seemed to be very calm. We scanned the ocean but the only wildlife we could see was seabirds. Fulmar, gannets and little auks were happily gliding, diving and facing the seas but unfortunately we couldn´t find any sign of whales. Despite our lack of luck, we offered our passengers complimentary tickets, hopefully next time we will have a good encounter.

Birds seen during the tour: eider duck, great cormorant, european shag, little auk, northern fulmar, northern gannet, little auk, black-legged kittiwake, black-backed gull, iceland gull.

Tour at 13:00: RUNNING FROM ANOTHER HARBOUR

We will be sailing from Hafnarfjörður today at 13:00 (1 PM). The sea today will be quite rough so keep that in mind in regards to children and such, and we do have sea sickness tablets available free of charge at the ticket office.  A bus will be ready and waiting for passengers at our ticket office in the Old Harbour in Reykjavik and drive off to Hafnarfjörður at the scheduled departure time at no extra charge, we are expecting the tour to end in the Old Harbour Reykjavík. Because of this the tour will take around 3,5-4 hours.
