Report from Eldey: Time to recharge batteries! We have had a beautiful sunny day so our vitamin D levels were skyrocketing! And we cannot be more happy than when we are sailing with the sun shining up in the sky so nicely. However, it was freezing cold (-3ºC + light breeze from the east) but we resisted bravely in the upper deck because our beloved humpback whale was waiting for us in Kollafjörður. Today, we spotted it from 3 NM away, a new record! This humpback was feeding as usual and we could see in our fish-finder that the in the fjord fish is still abundant so we are hoping for more glorious days with this individual. Apart from the whale, birdlife activity was also high and we could witness some air-battles between hungry seagull. Overall a 10 out of 10 tour.
