✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | at 09:00 and 13:00

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: A beautiful but bitterly afternoon tour, wrap up warm with our free onboard overalls and hot chocolate at our onboard cafeteria, As usually we were super lucky to have our trusty humpback whale buddy that was just 30min sailing away and still enjoying its time feeding on the plentiful fish in the area, The passengers got a treat this afternoon as there was a lot of fish at the surface and we could watch the spectacular surface feeding behaviours like rolling and showing the pectoral fins. It was a great afternoon in the freezing cold winter conditions.

Tour at 9:00

Report from Hafsúlan: The first 9 o'clock tour of the year 2019 started out just wonderfully! We had bitterly cold wind coming from the North, but being out this morning certainly was rewarded by a scenic sunrise with the moon crescent in the sky above Reykajvík as we sailed out changing place with the sun just an hour later. As it got brighter, we spotted the blow of our humpback whale, which has been with us for nearly a month now, just past the island Engey. It was feeding in waters around 25 meters depth, so during many of it's dives it raised it's beautiful fluke. We had several survacings veeeery close to the front of our boat and the excited screams of our passengers were all we needed to know how excited everyone was. So much fun and the best way I can think of to start my day and my month :)
