Report from Eldey: It felt like summer with sun and flat sea but not with temperature, classic Icelandic 'window weather' when from inside weather seems to be nice but in reality it´s cold. We had good feeling as in the morning we saw many sea birds so we knew that fish is in the sea. We spent good time searching around but only one cute seal, most likely harbour seal, was spotted. We even take some extra time to check area when we noticed many fish on fish finder but unfortunately, no signs of whales of dolphins. Some days are just like that, no matter how hard we try, but soon bad luck with will be over. Our guests were offered with complimentary tickets to give nature another chance.

Report from Eldey: We have just been incredibly lucky with the weather in Reykjavik these last days. This sunshine and cloudless skies are so enjoyable and make every minute outside on the boat wonderful. We could see every bit of both peninsulas surrounding us, even the volcano Snaefellsjökull at 100km distance in a straight line away from us. We got to see an incredible amount of feeding birds throughout our tour and a few harbour porpoises feeding together with them. Because there was so much birdlife, we were sure something would show itself to us, but the whales kept themselves hidden for this tour. Accordingly, every passenger was offered a complimentary ticket for a free return trip!
