Report from Eldey: We had truly Sun day today with perfect sailing conditions and because of that weather our bookings doubled in last moment and we went out for a trip with full boat! It was definitely worthy to made up mind fast and jump on boat as we had great time. Huge pod of white-beaked dolphins was waiting for us at the entrance of Faxafloi bay. It was hard to count them as dolphins were everywhere, swimming in smaller groups. Next to our side we have a look at next generation as pair mother-calf was staying close by to our boat. In distance more dolphins was surfacing with lighthouse in background, perfect for photos. One dolphin was even jumping! It was tempting to stay with them but ocean was calling us to look for more adventures. Not far later we found minke whale. And another and another. In total we met 4-5 of them. Those fast whales were keeping us alerted as they were just popping out on flat surface of water. Way back wasn't boring at all as more dolphins was still hanging around Reykjavik. Second encounter with them was even better as those dolphins were more interacting with us, swimming around our boat. There was again many juveniles, dolphin's baby-boom. In distance other boat was also watching dolphins so there tens of them in the area, the biggest pod I have ever seen. Dolphinetly amazing afternoon!

Report from Eldey: what an spectacular morning we have had to celebrate the end of the week. Beautiful views, no wind and almost flats seas were the perfect combination for the first trip in the morning. We went to check over an area well-known by its high productivity last days. As soon as we arrived we started to see some blows in the distance and we had literally a minke whale festival out there. We encountered at least 5 of them, some of them clearly new born and older ones as well. One of them was well spotted by one of our passengers so we will name that one after her, Candy. The way back to the harbour couldn´t have been better and the views were breathtaking.
