Report from Elding: The evening was magnificent with the sun shinning in the sky and we had wonderful views of the entire bay. As we approached one of our main areas, we saw few powerful blows in the distance. We tried to follow them as we knew something big was going on but unfortunately whales weren't in the mood. Even though we had an incredible sailing experience, whales weren't in our side so we offered complimentary tickets to all of our passengers, maybe next time it will be better.

Report from Elding: This afternoon we were sailing through calm waters of Faxa bay under shining sun. Snow on the mountains is almost gone and landscape is becoming greener each day. After 40 min of enjoyable cruise we found a minke whale. There was many small flocks of arctic terns and not one, not two but three minke whales were feeding around! It's always more challenging to follow few whales but with eyes all around we had multiple chances to take close look at those animals. When we were satisfyied with thats sighting we kept with our search and under plunge-diving northern gannets we saw one more minke whale. Hopefully all coming summer will be as nice as it was today!

Report from Elding: It was a proper summer morning and perfect conditions to be out at sea! We had a few scattered sightings of 4 or 5 pods of harbour porpoises through the course of our tour. To our surprise one of the pods of harbour porpoises was quite easy to track and we were able to observe them for a few minutes. Usually these animals are quite conspicuous and hard to keep track of. We also encountered a pod of 6 or 7 white beaked dolphins and 3 minke whales! Two out of the three minke whales were quite illusive, though everyone got to see them, and the other one was quite comfortable around us, allowing usstay with the animal for quite a long time, as it resurface quite close to our vessel sometimes. Another great tour with Elding!
