✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE  | at 9:00

Report from Eldey : During this morning tour we sailed under a blue and sunny sky. The icelandic fresh wind coming from the north was blowing strongly, but our captain sailed wisely in the shelter close to Snæfellness. We saw some puffins and artic terns near to the close islands in Kollafjöður. Our passengers had amazing views on the mountains Esja and Akrafjall lightened by the sunlight, and learned a bit more about the beautiful volcanic landscape. Despite our vigilance and the passengers attention on the surface of the sea, no whales showed their presence during this tour. This can rarely occur, as wildlife animals are unpredictable and sometimes hard to spot. Thus, we offered our passengers the possibility to book another, completely free tour within the next two years, in Reykjavik or in Akureyri with our complimentary tickets.

- Miquel Pons

Birds seen today: arctic terns, atlantic puffin, northern fulmar, eider duck, black-legged kittiwake, black-backed gull, common gull, arctic skua, red-breasted merganser.

We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today at 9:00. The wind is very strong today so we are expecting the seas to be quite rough, so if you are prone to seasickness we have some seasickness tablets free of charge at our ticket office. The sun is shining, but make sure to dress warmly and make use of our warm overalls as it is always colder on sea than on land.
