Tour at 17:00 Report from Hafsúlan: The weather had calmed down a little bit when we headed out this afternoon. There were still some swells though and it felt like an easy going roller coaster. We found one minke whale in this tour. The minke came up few times very close to the boat allowing us all to take a good look at it. We stayed in the area for a long time but never managed to see it again. On the way back we stopped at Akurey but there were not many puffins at home today. Let's hope the whales will come back soon!

Tour at 13:00 and 14:00

Due to rough seas in the Faxaflói bay the tours at 13:00 and 14:00 were cancelled today. Let's hope it gets nicer soon!If you have any questions you can come to our office between 8-21, call us on 519 5000 or email us at elding@elding.is. Tour at 10:00Report from Elding: The tour started with a visit to Akurey, one of the Puffin islands where there was a lot of bird life. As we headed further out the sea got rough although our weather forecast said it should have gotten better. We searched for a long time with out any luck accept from enjoying the sightings of beautiful seabirds like the Norhern Gannets & Manx shearwaters. We didn't have any luck finding the whales in this tour so we gave all of our passengers complementary tickets and hope that they will visit us again and have better luck. But of course this is Wild life, it's always unpredictable. - Freydís Ósk Hjörvarsdóttir

Tour at 09:00

Report from Hafsúlan: We had a good start in the puffin island Akurey where we saw lots of puffins and other birds. However the rest of the bay was not as lively. We did not find any whales this morning but did enjoy the company of some northern gannets along the way. At the end of the tour we gave out complimentary tickets and hope to see our passengers again. Better luck next time!
