Report from Eldey: A grey sky and a strong northerly wind was awaiting us this morning, but our passengers were prepared for our Icelandic adventure. We stayed closer to land today, taking some shelter from the wind, enjoying beautiful views of Akrafjall and Kvalfjörður and getting close to the town of Akranes. It was a little bit of a rollercoaster ride out at sea at the beginning, but once we turned the boat it got a lot calmer. We came across a variety of seabirds during this tour, including atlantic puffins, northern fulmars, arctic terns and northern gannets. Apart from the birds no wildlife was to be seen during the tour, which is of course not what we wanted to show our passengers. Therefore we gave our passengers complimentary tickets, so they can try their luck again on another whale watching tour with us for free, during the next 2 years.

We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today at 9:00. It is quite windy out on the bay today and rough seas. so the rest of the tours are waiting to be confirmed.
