 TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 17:00

Report from Eldey: Another nice tour in Faxafloi Bay. We had the opportunity to see in total 4 minke whales close to the city and stay almost two hours with all of them!. They were surfacing many times in front of us and we recognised one of them, "tap" is how we call it, it is seeing in the bay sonce 2007. It is always nice to see old friends back. When we were running out of time we went back to the harbour but before we could enjoy a really beautiful sunset behind our boat.

 TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Eldey: The wind soothed up along the tour. In fact, we could feel nothing but a soft breeze under open skies. The swell remained a bit high though, providing our passengers a proper Icelandic experience! That only enlightened our guest enthusiasm! This journey was very exciting, as action started sooner than expected. Half an hour after we left the harbour we spotted our first minke whale! This was the beginning of a waterfall of sightings, where one lead straight to the other. By the end we observed 5 minke whales, sometimes resurfacing very close to our vessel. Prety sure this was a ride our passengers will never forget!

 TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 9:00

Report from Eldey: At the beginning of the tour it was raining a bit but we knew out in the bay we had clear skies so we started off very optimistic. In a moment we had a lot of birds around the boat so we slowed down trying to spot one of ours favorite species the minke whale. Suddenly something happened and we started counting many dorsal fins around, it was magic we had in total 6 minke whales coming next to the boat. It was absolutely amazing, we could stayed more than an hour with all of them. Amazing tour this morning in Faxafloi Bay it seems like the summer didn't end up yet.
