 TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 17:00

Report from Eldey: The ocean looked really calm, although the wind from the north kept us with the goose pumps the entire trips. We could really fell how north we are here in Iceland. We were sailing calmly throughout the bay with short episodes of heavy rain that brought us a beautiful double rainbow over the boat. We were looking for cetaceans without a rest and we saw a blow in the distance and 2 white-beaked dolphins that dissapeared straight away. Luckily when we were almost in Reykjavik, 2 pods of harbour porpoises showed up in front of the boat. Nevertheless, it was really fast and we decided to give our passengers a complimentary ticket to try again and, hopefully, be able to enjoy a new adventure at sea with Elding, this time with a nicer encounter.

 TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Eldey: The sea looked calmed, actually even calmer than expectged. We had high hopes, although the tour in the morning was a bit tricky. We were sailing in the bay, scanning the sea surface until we saw the first blow in the distance. We approached the area but the animal never showed up again. It happened 3 o 4 more times. Appaarently, the animals were really busy today! After a couples of blows without a succesful sighting, we encountered a minke whale, although it surfaced just 2 times. Most of the passengers were not able to enjoy it and it was short and fast. Thus, we gace all of them the opportunity to come back with us, within the next 2 years to enjoy another tour with us and try to enjoy a great encounter.
