-Report from Eldey: We had a standart icelandic weather during this morning whale watching tour. Our passengers could enjoy the full viking sailing experience, between drops of rain and winds: Well protected by our warm overalls the passengers could stay outside during the three hours. The wind was coming from the south so the captain wisely choose to shelter heading to Hafnafjordur. We could find there a lot of northern gannets plunge-diving and a pod of 3-5 harbour porpoises that fastly disappeared, those small cetaceans being rarely friendly. We could not manage to find any whale during this tour so we offered to our passengers to come back giving them complementary tickets, allowing them to go on a new tour in the next two years to have another chance to see the animals.

Good morning! We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today. The wind is not to strong this morning, but the sea might be bumpy out there. If you are prone to getting sea sick, we do have sea sickness tablets available free of charge at the office and on board. Make sure to dress warmly and make use of our warm overalls as it is always colder on sea than on land. For more information contact us by email elding@elding.is or by phone +354 519 5000.
